Independence Square
Independence Square is a unique, expansive therapy space where patients test their daily living skills in lifelike environments, such as a fully functioning kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, market and business center. The interactive environment helps patients relearn mobility, cognitive skills and the basics of daily living routines. Occupational therapists use the kitchen area to improve patients’ abilities to eat and cook, while physical therapists use the ramps and putting green to help patients regain mobility and strength.
