NRH Regional Rehab offers speech-language pathology services for preschool and school-age children.
Services include evaluation and treatment of:
- Articulation disorders
- Language delays
- Functional and organic voice disorders
- Cognitive-communicative disorders for children and young adults with traumatic brain injury (TBI)
- Augmentative/alternative communication (ACC)
- Swallowing disorders
- IEP consultation and development
Therapists at our Dundalk and Bel Air locations also evaluate and treat:
- Receptive and Expressive Language disorders
- Auditory Processing disorders
- Developmental delays
- Autism Spectrum disorders
- Pragmatics
We offer both individual and group therapy services with flexible scheduling.
Staff and Facilities
The NRH Regional Rehab Speech-Language Pathology staff hold the American Speech Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA’s) certificate of clinical competence (CCC-SLP) and are licensed by the state(s) in which they provide services. All speech-language pathologists participate in continuing education in order to ensure state-of-the-art knowledge, skills and abilities.
Financial Arrangements
NRH Regional Rehab participates in Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Medicare and is approved by most major insurance carriers and health maintenance organizations. A case manager or office manager will discuss your insurance with you at the time of the referral.

Referrals for pediatric speech- language pathology services may be made by physicians, community agencies, insurance companies, health care professionals or family members. A physician’s written prescription is required for reimbursement by most third party payers.
