Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational rehabilitation assists people with disabilities or injuries in successfully returning to work and school by defining realistic vocational options.

Services offered

Successful community reintegration to school, employment, or other meaningful activity is facilitated through evaluation and treatment for individuals with:

  • Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
  • Spinal Cord Injury (SCI)
  • Stroke
  • Amputation
  • Orthopedic/musculoskeletal conditions
  • Repetitive motion disorder
  • Arthritis
  • Chronic Pain Syndrome
  • Other neurologic conditions
  • Cardiac disorders
  • Burns
  • Vocational rehabilitation services offered include:

  • Comprehensive vocational assessment

  • NRH Regional Rehab offers individual, group, and day treatment therapy services with flexible scheduling.

    Vocational Rehab Staff

    Our staff consists of Masters-level trained rehabilitation counselors who specialize in medical rehabilitation. All staff hold national certification in rehabilitation counseling (CRC) and are experienced in their respective speciality areas.

    Financial Arrangements

    Funding is available through worker’s compensation, long-term disability, state vocational rehabilitation, special education, and third party payers. A case manager or office manager will discuss your insurance with you at the time of the referral.

    To learn more about Vocational Rehabilitation Services, call Marion Levine, M.Ed., CRC, at 202.877.1198. Referrals for vocational rehabilitation services may be made by physicians, community agencies, insurance companies, or health care professionals. A physician’s written prescription is required for reimbursement by most third party payers.
