Over the years, NRH has developed strong linkages with professional and disability advocacy organizations and sponsors several programs to increase the community's awareness about the role of people with disabilities in our society. Staff members have helped launch the Disability Awareness Program, the "Think First" traumatic injury prevention program and support groups for people with stroke, amputation, arthritis and post-polio syndrome.

In this section, we offer information on the many services we provide our former patients and the community at large, including support groups, sports programs and peer mentoring. We've also provided a directory of online resources for the disability community and our peers in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation community.
