We have so much to commemorate during this milestone year.  Most importantly, we celebrate the difference we have made in the lives of the hundreds of thousands of individuals who have benefited from NRH’s rehabilitation services. 

We also celebrate our extraordinary growth and reputation for leadership and excellence.  Underscored by our excellent patient and family satisfaction ratings, we are honored to be ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of our nation’s Top 10 medical rehabilitation hospitals.

The past twenty years has been a period of great challenge, growth, recognition, and innovation for both rehabilitative care and for National Rehabilitation Hospital. Over these few short years, NRH has grown from a dream into the epicenter for rehabilitative care and research in the Washington-Baltimore metropolitan area. 

NRH now provides comprehensive, integrated and innovative rehabilitative care through its flagship hospital and 40 outpatient locations.  All told, NRH has served nearly 30,000 inpatients and provided well over 2 million outpatient visits.

We have so many to thank for this success.  We especially salute our highly skilled and dedicated staff as well as our generous volunteers for their hard work and unwavering commitment to NRH. We also sincerely thank our Board of Directors and Board of Associates for their steady guidance and support.  In addition, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our parent organization, MedStar Health, and to the many individuals, corporations, foundations and government agencies that have assisted NRH throughout the years.

Everyone who has helped write the NRH story can proudly reflect upon these accomplishments and look forward to many more years of Adding life to years®.
