The job market for therapists right now is strong. Here are a few questions you might want to ask yourself before accepting an offer:

• Do I want an inpatient or outpatient setting? Does the employer offer both?
• Are there educational opportunities? Is there a strong mentoring program in place?
• Is it a new facility or one with a longer track record?
• Are there opportunities for advancement or developing a clinical specialty?
• Is there a total benefit package (e.g., retirement and 401k plan, medical/dental/vision plan, flex hours, spending accounts, employee assistance programs)?
