A Clinic Director is an individual who functions as the site administrator, as per HCFA-1893, 485.709 definition standard. Responsible for initial evaluation, reevaluation, treatment planning, treatment implementation, reporting and documentation of all referred patients within departmental and professional standards. Also, in a coordination position, is instrumental in affecting day-to-day operations at the Outpatient Center. Coordinates effective short term scheduling and team member coverage. Individual is responsible to work with the Vice President to promote proper and efficient utilization of quality services. Participates in program development, expansion and improvement. Helps develop and maintain systems to increase referrals and to communicate with physicians, insurers and external case managers. Provides leadership and supervision of center team members. Graduate of an accredited school of occupational or physical therapy with a Bachelors or Masters degree in occupational or physical therapy. Must have three to five years clinical experience in an outpatient therapy setting preferred. Program and staff development experience preferred. Two years significant supervisory experience preferred. Maryland Licencsure and current Heart Saver Card required.
