   Brendan E. Conroy, MD     


Dr. Conroy is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with a special interest in neurorehabilitation. He is the medical director of the Stroke Recovery Program. Before joining the NRH staff, he was in private practice directing the rehabilitation unit at Portsmouth General Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia.  Dr. Conroy received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, and had further training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the George Washington University Medical Center.

Dr. Conroy is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, is a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
