Dr. Abdul Q.Ahad, M.D., F.A.C.S., a native of Kabul, Afghanistan, has joined NRH as President of the Medical Staff.

Dr. Ahad earned his B.S. as well as his M.D. from the American University of Beirut, Beirut, Lebanon. He completed residencies at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., serving an internship, also at the Hershey Medical Center.

Dr. Ahad holds many certifications and has served at the helm of a thriving private practice since 1981.
