Ms. Julia Creighton is Vice President, Financial Reporting, Fannie Mae, and is responsible for oversight of their monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and analysis. Creighton is also responsible for corporate accounting functions, including the accounting and reporting for the company’s pension, 401K, and other employee benefit plans.
Previously, Creighton was Senior Director of Financial Reporting for CapitalSource, a commercial lender located in Chevy Chase, Maryland, where she led the company’s internal and external financial reporting functions as well as consolidation accounting. Creighton has been an adjunct faculty member in the Accounting Department at the American University Kogod School of Business since 2004.Creighton has a Master of Business Administration from American University.
Creighton is the current President of the MedStar NRH Board of Associates. Her other volunteer activities have included serving on the boards of not-for profits, including Project Create and Helping Individual Prostitutes Survive (HIPS). She is a member of the Junior League of Washington, D.C.
