Dallas A. Lea, II, M.D

Dallas A. Lea, II, M.D., joined NRH as the Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Attending Physician in the Spinal Cord Program, bringing with him years of experience in the field of PM&R, specializing in spinal cord injury. Dr. Lea earned his B.S. from Howard University in Washington, DC and his M.D. from Medical College of Ohio, Toledo, OH. An internship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston followed and Dr. Lea completed a PM&R residency through the Baylor College of Medicine Affiliated Hospitals Residency Program in Houston, then serving in a spinal cord injury fellowship through the Institute for Rehabilitation and Research, also in Houston.

Dr. Lea is board certified in PM&R with a subspecialty in SCI medicine, is a member of several professional organizations, has over six years of experience in renowned PM&R facilities and is a noted researcher, speaker and author within the PM&R community.
