   John N. Aseff, MD     


John N. Aseff, MD, is a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Aseff has particular interests in electrodiagnostic medicine, soft tissue pain syndromes, and neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation. He is currently the director of Electrodiagnostic Services at the National Rehabilitation Hospital, and sees patients at at our  Oxon Hill, Bethesda and Irving Street locations. He formerly chaired the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department at the Washington Hospital Center and currently is a Clinical Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Georgetown University.

Dr. Aseff is a graduate of the Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed a residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Ohio State University Hospitals. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and a fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He is certified by the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He is an active member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine, and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Aseff has been consistently named one of the top doctors in his specialty by Washingtonian magazine since November 1993.
